Basically peak flow on a used stock L31 Vortec head with normal cleaned up (refresh) factory 3 angle valve grind and nothing more. Valve opening is 0.500" .. you can see from the Anemometer readings the flow is about 220 CFM.
I have a Testo 405i Anemometer in the pipe about a foot after the restrictor plate orifice , i placed it there to try and get the most laminar flow reading.

The hand held fan Anemometer with special port adapter to create a perfect seal yields surprisingly accurate readings at all valve lifts !
