Zip mechanism is not a regular mechanism like gear mating mechanism or sliding mechanism…It is a bit complicated because the mating mechanism of elements in the zip need to be respective to the sliding motion of the slider and there are no such predefined mates in solidworks. But we are doing it with a trick using under defined sketch and rebuild option...
