Decluttering My Art Supplies, PT. 1 | January 2019

Well this hobby has turned into an obsession and now I have a load of things that are just making me miserable. Join me in assessing my art supplies! In this video, we’re primarily going to be dealing with paper, Lino and block printing, and watercolor supplies. Paint brushes and paints will be looked at in the next round, so don’t you worry!

A little aside I forgot to mention whilst filming:
A lot of these items make me feel guilty because I’ve been buying a LOT of new, cheap stuff, a completely counterintuitive thing to do when you’re prioritizing second-hand or ethically made items. Thrifting fine art supplies is much more difficult than fiber art supplies, but it can be done with more effort. I defaulted on the path of least resistance to the most items I could manage instead of being responsible with my purchases. I will be implementing morally harmonious practices for buying supplies in the future.
