4m40 engine timing settings.
There was a confusion for timing settings the camshaft sprocket has a two small holes but not related to the timing mark.
A known good camshaft gear has a dowel pin which means if the dowel pim point upwards indicates camshaft has been set to cylinder number one.
For those a beginner always remember the running mate of the engine. Number 1 cylinder is the running mate of number 4 cylinder. The position of the camlobe cylinder number 4 the engine valve intake and exhaust valve bear in mind beginning to close, beginning to open. The number one cylinder, the position of yje camlobe both intake and exhaust valve pointed upwards position nd the both valves are close as shown in tne video.
