Hailing from our home base, Seattle, Washington, Supreme La Rock is an on-air KEXP personality, music producer, internationally renowned, and award-winning DJ whose sound has reached legendary status. Having been gifted a record player at the young age of 4 years old and being unimpressed by the childrens records that came with it, he explored his parents record collection only to fall in love with the sounds of icons like Curtis Mayfield, James Brown, Billy Paul and so many more. This pivotal event set the course for his future where he would carve a path of his own with a distinctive style exploring a myriad of genres. Having saved allowances and lunch money, Supreme started to build his record collection which, years ago, surpassed over 50,000. His deep love of all things music blended with his exposure to hip hop in its infancy, which left him awestruck with the genre and its culture, makes for an unforgettable approach to the decks.
