A short clip of last nights, The One Show by the BBC featuring Catch a Thief founder, Farrah McNutt and family run business retail owner, Benedict Selvaratnam who has been experiencing more than 10 shoplifting incidents every day.

The filming took place last week in Croydon, London where Farrah was interviewed by One Show reporter/ journalist, Matt Allwright who highlighted the rise in retail crime across England and Wales.

Farrah visited the store to offer expert advice on improving security measures. Farrah's findings exposed significant vulnerabilities in the store’s defences, which Benedict has since acted upon to better safeguard his business.

The episode drew on recent figures from the Office for National Statistics, which revealed that theft from retail outlets has reached a 20-year high, rising by 30% in the year ending March 2024. The British Retail Consortium estimates that retail theft is now costing the industry a staggering £1.8 billion annually....
