The Federal Government passed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which provides an unprecedented $1.5 billion in funding for urban and community forestry (UCF) work. These funds will be used to provide multiyear, programmatic, competitive grants for urban and community forestry throughout the nation. MnSTAC and DNR want to hear from you about current and long-term urban and community forestry needs. This listening session will:
-provide foundational information about available funding and;
-garner information around urban and community forestry needs to develop potential grant proposals for funding.
