What is the BEST eco friendly toilet paper? Why should you care? We did an experiment to find out!

What is the best eco-friendly toilet paper? What is the softest eco-friendly toilet paper? Which is better -- toilet paper made from recycled paper or toilet paper made from bamboo? Why should I care about toilet paper? We will address all the questions (and more) in this video.

In an effort to find the best eco-friendly toilet paper, I purchased 6 different earth-friendly toilet papers to determine which was best by our very unscientific yet slightly geeky experiment. We wanted to find what was best for our bums, best for our planet, and best for our pocketbook. We looked at toilet papers made from bamboo (Who Gives a Crap bamboo, Reel, and Number 2) and toilet papers made from recycled paper (Seventh Generation White, Seventh Generation unbleached, and Who Gives a Crap recycled). We also took into account whether or not the toilet paper company had a giveback, if it was female or minority founded, and/or if it had plastic packaging

This TP is from Seventh Generation. https://amzn.to/3p70Xrb We found it to be the softest AND it is most affordable. It is also made in America which is a huge plus. HOWEVER, it has a plastic wrapper which is a big bummer for us.

If plastic is a no-go for you and price is not an issue, go with no 2. It was the runner-up on softness. However, this company does not have a stated give back and the rolls are a bit small.

If plastic is a no-go for you and you are more price-conscious, try Who Gives a Crap recycled. https://www.talkable.com/x/0x8oTK They have a great give back and have large rolls.

Honorable mention goes to Reel. http://reel.refr.cc/lucindab They are doing many things right. And apparently, after I purchased my box from them they improved their softness. They are worth trying too as they have a great giveback and a minority founder.
