How To Program Charge 1 Button To Allow Cashback Card Transactions Sam4S ER-900 Programming Tutorial

How to re-program your CHARGE 1 method of payment button to allow for 'cash back' change out of the till drawer. In this video we show a different method of accounting for cash back transactions on your ER-900 series cash register.

The CHARGE 1 function is edited to allow for over tender, change & for the change amounts to be deducted from the 'cash in drawer' totals. We also rename the button as CARD for the till receipt purposes. We also rename the financial report descriptions 'CHG1-IN-DRAWER' & 'CHG1 SALES' as this isn't covered in the standard manual we have included here:

Turn metal P key to P-Mode -

Type in 701 - Press SBTL - type in 55
Press X/TIME - type in new description for CHG1-IN-DRWR
Press SBTL
Press CASH

Type in 701 - Press SBTL - type in 63
Press X/TIME - type in new description for CHG1 SALES
Press SBTL
Press CASH

Turn key back to REG
