Syd Barrett - Rare Studio Outtakes 1968-1970

The Have You Got It Yet? box set is an excellent fan-compiled collection of rarities recorded by Syd both in Pink Floyd and during his solo career. Included among them, alongside live recordings and interviews, are a selection of studio outtakes and alternate mixes, and I decided to compile the ones from his solo career that don't appear on any of his official releases, either on the original records or on the CD reissues.

I did my best to avoid overlap with any of the master takes used for the albums, though I did in a couple cases to showcase some alternate mixes and different mix elements. Also included is a fragment of the track "Lanky Part 2", one of maybe 2 or 3 solo Syd tracks that we know was recorded that has not yet surfaced in full. Perhaps some day.
