Hey NJ babes we are back with another Saige Soap Sunday! Today we are making Botanical Soap. It’s such a good mild exfoliating soap. One of my favorites from the collection. If you’re into soap making please stay tuned and subscribe! I hope you enjoy this botanical soap tutorial.

Olive Oil
Coconut Oil
Palm Oil
Sweet Almond Oil
Castor Oil
Cocoa Butter
Distilled water
lye
Botanical Blend
Mica (Ballet Slipper and Ruby Red)
Fragrance Oil
Titanium Dioxide



METHOD

Mix lye into hard butters and melt using heat transfer method (please educate yourself on heat transfer before attempting)

Prepare Mica by mixing a small amount of oil into mica blend. Set aside

Mix liquid oils into melted butter.
Separate ¼ of the batter into a separate container, add titanium dioxide to this batter, and stick blend shortly.
Add Mica to the rest of the batter, stick blend
Add botanical blend and fragrance in with a whisk until fully incorporated.
Pour into a soap loaf molds
Add botanical flowers to decorate the tops
Let sit overnight for 18-24 hours, cut and let cure for 4-6 weeks.
