Koschei and Viy return to Hell and are greeted by The Devil who informs them of Ember's futile power play. Realizing that there is only one piece of the Codex left and with it, a chance at halting Weirdmageddon, Koschei decides to forgo his original plan of ending the curse from centuries long past in favor of a more delicious scheme: Rekindling his fractured relationship with The Snow Queen who appears before Hell's King in need of not just assistance but also a chance to make amends with Koschei for abandoning him all those years ago.
