"Bohemian Rhapsody" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It appeared on the 1975 album "A Night at the Opera". On 31 October that year, the song was released on single. It was a worldwide hit for the group in 1975/1976 and its re-release in late 1991 also became a hit. It is widely regarded as one of the most successful records of all time. The song consists of six parts, covering a number of widely different musical styles. Little is clear about the exact meaning of the scantily coherent lyrics, yet it has been suggested that Goethe's famous work "Faust" was a major source of inspiration. The arrangement is by English arranger Alan Catherall.
