Some people consider Odin to be the same god as Woden, but how did Wōðanaz become Óðinn? We know of many stories about the development of Odinn, and so when did they happen in the journey from one god to the other. Here we look at the journey, and touch on subjects such as Loki, physical damage, and Proto Indo European influence on Norse mythology, and the difference between Scandinavian and Germanic sources.
