4K Relaxing Drive from Manali to Leh in 16 hrs | Leh Ladakh Diaries Ep 1 | Road Condition July 2024

Welcome to the first episode of Leh Diaries 2024 , presented by ‪@SeekSlow‬

Today we are heading towards the epic road trip from Manali to Leh in 16 hrs.

We will take the route from Manali - Tandi - Keylong - Jispa- Darcha - Baralachala Pass - Sarchu - Gata Loops - Nakeela Top- Lachungla Top - Pang - Morey Plains - Debring - Upshi - Thiksey - Shey - Leh

We will be crossing high passes hovering around 17000 feet, where oxygen levels are low, but spirits are high ✨.

We witnessed beautiful glacial lakes i.e Deepak Tal and Suraj Tal.

Deepak Tal - A silent water body in the valley as you pass through Darcha, Deepak Tal is particularly known amongst the various places to visit in Keylong. This is especially because the waters of this glacial lake remain calm, reflecting the serene surroundings of snowcapped peaks and dusty hills.

Located at an altitude of 3,750m above sea level, the lake forms a perfect retreat for the riders who pass by, making it one of the scenic views to witness this natural Beauty.

Suraj Tal - Suraj Tal, also called Tso Kamtsi or Surya Tal, is an 800 m long lake that lies just below the 4,890 m high Bara-lacha-la pass in Lahaul and Spiti district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is the third-highest lake in India and the 21st-highest in the world.


Baralachala Pass - Bara-lacha la also known as Bara-lacha Pass,
or Bārā Lācha La, is a high mountain pass at an altitude of 4890 metres ; 16040 fee in
the Zanskar range of Northern-India, connecting
Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh to Leh district in Ladakh.
