This was a drive between Chesterfield and Chapel-en-le-Frith, both towns located in the county of Derbyshire, taking in a route along the A623 across part of the Peak District National Park.

The date was Saturday 7th December 2024, notable for Storm Darragh which, thankfully, did not present too much of a problem on this journey. Conditions were far more severe further out to the west. It did remain very windy for most of our journey, with a lot of cloud and mostly light rain.
