Blue Heron Catching a Fish and the Little Kingfisher

A Blue #Heron grabs a fish from the canal waters and the little #Kingfisher seen flying about. The heron made a nice catch, a big, fat winter minnow! Just a snack for a blue heron, but cool to see how he hunts and eats. Amazing how the large bird patiently wades in the shallow waters, waiting for the prey, any sort of fish really, to swim within striking distance!
