Описание к видео A How-To: Knotting with Tweezers and Ending with Clamshell Bead Tips + Clasp

Hello Beaders + Crafters!

In this video, you will learn how to knot a strand of beads using knotting tweezers and nylon or silk cording. You will also learn how to finish off your piece with clamshell bead tips and a clasp. I will be showing you how to do this method using 5~6mm freshwater pearls and size 3 Griffin Silk cord.

Materials needed for this project are:

15 inches or More of Beads
2 Clamshell Bead Tips (4mm)
Clasp of Choice (may or may not need jump rings for attaching)
Packet of Nylon or Silk Griffin Cord (size will depend on your beads, see video to figure out sizing) Typically nylon is used for knotting glass and some semiprecious, while silk is used on pearls.
Knotting Tweezers
Hypo Cement or Similar Glue
Scissors or Cutters
Round Nose Pliers
Chain Nose Pliers
Beading Mat or Towel to keep beads from rolling around as you work

All of these materials can be found in our shop in Carrboro, North Carolina. Otherwise, some are listed on our website at www.fireflycarrboro.com

Happy Beading!!
