1 onion, chopped
1 cup baby bella mushrooms, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp tomato paste
½ tbsp Italian herb mix
1 tbsp olive oil
½ lb spaghetti, cooked
Optional: Handful of spinach
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Parmesan cheese, grated (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup water
Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro for garnish)

For the Marinade:
2.5 lbs chicken breast (or thighs for dark meat)
2 tbsp shawarma spice mix (contains ground cumin, turmeric powder, ground coriander, garlic powder, paprika, ground cloves, and black pepper, or Arabic allspice)
3 garlic cloves, minced
Juice from half a lemon
3 tbsp olive oil

¼ cup of flaxseed

⅓ cup of oil (I used the oil from the tahini, but you could also use coconut oil).
