Skiing the Basin | Ely Party Ski Season

Doesn't get better than early May in the Basin. An unexpected aurora borealis sighting, long days, beautiful weather, and lush scenery made for some unforgettable ski tours. First day knocked out a long traverse of the Ward Mt area in the Egan Range. Second day revisited a classic and scored great conditions on the north face of North Schell Peak.
