Vanilla City Hits 50k Population & +$50k Income! - Cities Skylines 2 - Economy 2.0

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the second episode of my Cities Skylines 2 series. In the first episode, I started from scratch without any mods, using only the basic features of the game. I deactivated the ''infinite money'' and ''everything unlocked'' options, facing the game’s limitations head-on. By the end of that episode, my city had grown to a population of around 7,000, and I managed to establish a small but profitable economy.

In this episode, I kick things off with my city ready for a population explosion. I focus on preparing the city’s infrastructure and main urban services.

Once I confirmed that my citizens were content and the city’s budget and economy were stable, I began designing new parts of the city. After setting everything up, I successfully expanded the population to around 50,000 and achieved an impressive hourly profit.

Now, my city is truly starting to look like a real metropolis with a large population and a strong economy, giving me the freedom to plan for even greater growth. My goal in this series is to overcome the game’s limitations and enjoy a pure construction experience with the new Economy 2.0 update.
