Take a tour of the 2020 Cadillac XT6 400 Premium Luxury AWD in this detailed walkaround. This particular XT6 comes with the Platinum package, which means upgraded semi-aniline leather seating, leather for the console and door trim, a suede microfiber headliner, and adaptive suspension damping, Front heated seats are standard on Premium trims, but this one the comfort package with rear heated seats and ventilation for these front chairs. The panoramic sunroof is standard and good sized to lighten up the cabin. Front passengers get multi-way adjustable power seats with lumbar support as standard too.

You can choose a seven-passenger setup with 2nd row captain’s chairs or eight passenger like this one with a bench setup. Stowing both rear rows is really simple thanks to power fold buttons in the trunk, a power raise for the third row, and easy sliding forward or folding flat adjustments for the second row. Third row space is not too bad, and even adults could squeeze back here for a short drive. Cargo is acceptable with the third row in place, at 13 cu. ft. or you can fold all rows for a generous 78.7 cu. ft.

Unlike most of the XT6’s 3-row luxury rivals, you’re boxed into one engine option (for now). That’s a 3.6-liter V6 making 310hp and 271 lb-ft of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission sends power to the once choice you do have: either just the front wheels, or all four wheels. 0-60 takes 6.9 seconds and top speed is more than 100 mph and less than 200 mph (do you really care?). Fuel economy is acceptable at 18 city, 25 highway, and 21 combined for FWD models or 20 combined if you choose AWD.
