Antenna Mod Motorola TLKR series T50 T60 T80 and upgrade to a better antenna calculated for this frequency with a lambda/4 (size when it is closed) and 5*lambda/8 (size when it is extended).
The antenna that I used is available on aliexpress (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Teles...)

The reason why i preferred this mod is that in an emergency situation for short range communications, this radio is always prepared, having on hand a set of 4 Duracell AAA batteries. Other PMR radios have batteries that gets depleted while the radio is stored and not used/charged.
