Bon Monastery | Menri Monastery | A day out with her | Dolanji | Solan

Hi Guys! I hope you all are in fun.

Keeping the desire of exploring new places I went to this place with my travel companion Priya and we captured some of the moments, which I am sharing with you all. I hope you guys will like it.

Bon monastery is an offshoot of Menri Monastery which is in Solan and it is the second oldest Bon Monastery in the world. The Bon community is even older than the Buddhist community. The monastery was founded in 1969 by the Abbopt Lungtog Tenpai Nyima. The chief of the monastery is Menri Trizin. Bon Monastery is in Dolanji, it is an area near Solan in Himachal Pradesh. It is located at a distance of 24-25 km from Solan, on the Rajgarh road and is run by the Yungdrung Bon Monastic Centre. The place is considered to be the best place to witness Tibetan culture.
