Hi
friends
In this video I explained all the necessary Calculations for our EI core type Transformer. I explained the Calculations step by step. Watch video still end so you will get all the information related to Transformer Winding Calculations

Video content includes following topic

1) Transformer output voltage & Amp 00:37
2) Bobin Size selection 01:20
3) TPV turns per volt 03:37
4) SWG wire selection 05:16
5) Copper wire length in Metres 08:20
6) copper Weight 10:52
7) why we take 220V for primary 12:21
8) what will happen when input voltage changes 12:55
9) Testing instructions 14:32

Process and Calculations
🔴Step 1
Determine output voltage & Amp
Calculate the VA
VA=Secondary volt*Secondary Amp

🔴Step 2
Find the perfect Bobin Size
Bobin core area=1.152*√VA cm^2
Convert cm^2 to Inch^2
Using this link-
https://www.google.com/search?q=cm+sq...

Select the market available Bobin length
Then Calculate Width
Width =Bobin Core area/Length
So we Calculated the Bobin Size
Length" and width" in inches
according to Bobin Size EI core's are available in the market
Note-"use bigger size Bobin"

🔴Step 3
Calculate TPV
Formula for TPV=7/ (Bobin core area in inche)
You can aslo use 8 instead of 7
For new EI core's use 7
For old or used core's use 8

Choose primary voltge (220V)
Then multiply TPV to 220 V
220* TPV
So primary turns you will get
Do the same for secondary

🔴Step 4
Choose SWG wire for Transformer Winding
Using this table
Follow the link
https://en.m.wikibooks.org/wiki/Engin...

For primary current
Use this formula
Primary current=VA/primary voltage
And select the wire

🔴Step 5
Counting the total length of wire for secondary & primary wire
Total Bobin core length in round
=(Length"*2)+(Width"*2)
OR
=Length+Length+Width+Width= "x" inches
So multiply the answer "x" to Turns per Volt of secondary as well as primary
And use this inch to metre converter

https://www.google.com/search?q=inch+...

And take extra wire for additional

🔴Step 6
Secondary winding & primary winding Weight
For primary cut the 1 metre wire and count the weight
And the weight multiply by the number of turns of primary
Do the same for secondary
Note-"if you count the weight in kg for 1 metre wire then answer is also in kg"
You can count the weight in gm aslo

for toroidal and EI core Calculations
