First Time Taking an Overnight Train in Europe (ÖBB Nightjet Deluxe Cabin Vienna to Milan)

Our very first overnight train experience in Europe! We booked a deluxe sleeper cabin on the ÖBB Nightjet from Vienna to Milan and brought our dog along with us. The cabin had everything we needed - beds that folded down, a private bathroom with shower, and complimentary breakfast. We got to relax in the ÖBB Lounge in Vienna before boarding and were given sparkling wine for the journey. Making up the beds and figuring out luggage storage was chaotic but fun. Eating our train dinner, watching the scenery go by, and then waking up on board and having breakfast served in our cabin made for a very unique experience. After 13 hours, we arrived in a rainy Milan feeling tired but glad we tried European overnight trains!
