From the age of five Jamie knew he wanted to ‘make cool stuff’ for the rest of his life, Lego was to blame. At 13 he set his sights on the very specific goal of attending Southbank University in London to study Engineering & Product Design, so he could ‘make cool stuff’ and get paid for it. ‘Cool stuff’ back then was a McLaren F1 or a Bang & Olufsen CD player, neither of which he ever worked on, not even close. Today, he finds himself working on products that help people live longer, which means they can spend more time with the ones they love, which means more memories. Which he says is pretty cool!
