Welcome to a new playthrough of HOI4 with the mod "The New Order," where we will play as the United Mexican States. We will continue to maintain neutrality in the Cold War while balancing relationships between the United States of America and the Empire of Japan. Also, we're apparently against the NacScos of Europe. I aim to pick the historical successor to El Presidente Mateos: Ordaz.

What is TNO?
TNO, short for "The New Order: Last Days of Europe," is an alternate history mod for Hearts of Iron 4 set in an axis-victory scenario that results in a cold war. The Axis powers, Japan, Germany, and Italy broke apart from the alliance after the end of the Russian War, forming their own separate factions. The UK signed an unconditional surrender after a successful Operation Sealion invaded the British Isles.
At the start of 1962, Richard Nixon is the US President, leading the free-bloc alliance known as the "Organization of Free Nations." An aging and dying Hitler rules Nazi Germany from the former Netherlands to the ruins of Moscow. Fascist Italy competes with her northern neighbor in a race for Balkan alignment, while a modern colonial Japanese Empire tightens her grip on her Pacific holdings. What was once the mighty Soviet Union are now small warlords, ranging from communist remnants to military juntas, small yet fragile democracies, and some monarchist governments from Russia's past. It's a three-way superpower cold war, but who will come out on top? Only the player can decide the fate of the world.
