WILD CARDS is a crime-solving procedural with a comedic twist that follows the unlikely duo of a by-the-book, sardonic cop and a spirited, clever con woman. Cole Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti) is a demoted detective who has begrudgingly spent the last year on the maritime unit, while Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan) has been living a transient life, elaborately scamming everyone she meets.

But when Max is arrested and held at the station, she unexpectedly helps Ellis solve a local crime. The two are then offered a chance at redemption — Ellis needs his detective badge back, and Max needs to stay out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, combining Ellis’s hard-boiled police work with Max’s accents, disguises, schemes and effortless people-charming skills… all while driving each other crazy.

As they take on new cases, Ellis and Max must learn to trust one another — and maybe even become true partners.
