In this short video, our safety ambassadors, Christian and Hansen, address risk awareness and how incidents can be avoided by using Chr. Hansen's safety DNA – Take 5.

The Take 5 concept is intended to help us stop and think. A pause can remind us of the simple things that our brain otherwise tends to forget and prompts us to stop and assess the situation. “It is a fact that human behavior causes most accidents. Unsafe behavior is habitual – if we are used to doing something a certain way we are no longer conscious of the behavior,” says Peter Ibaek, director of Environment, Health & Safety. “Take 5 to access the situation and be sure you’re making conscious safety decisions instead of bad habits. We all have a responsibility for our own but certainly also our colleagues' safety at work”.
