Learning Thursdays: Professional Certification in Peer Recovery: Value and Process

This training covers the process of becoming a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC), and a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA). Presentation underscores the value of Peer Recovery Professionals and their contributions to prevention, treatment, and recovery addiction services.

Learning Thursdays is a recurring free learning opportunity geared toward New York State's addiction and substance use disorder workforce. After you have familiarized yourself with content, go to the OASAS Test Portal, complete an exam on the material, and receive a Certificate of Completion that will go toward the renewal of your OASAS professional credentialing. Some courses are also approved for NYSED Social Work continuing education hours.
