Best Weapons for an Adventuring Runaway Girl (Realistic Fantasy)

This is the last video I recorded at Matt Easton's place in early October this year (2024). We were having a chat to answer a fantasy writer's question about what would be the most practical historical equipment for a female character travelling solo on some sort of adventure.

So here are some of our ideas for a main weapon, a sidearm, and a missile option that don't require a lot of strength and can be carried easily on a journey without a horse-drawn cart. Perhaps that can serve as inspiration for your writing or artwork in novels, tabletop RPGs, etc.
