Thabo Mbeki Foundation International Women's Day Dialogue: Panel Discussion 2

Описание к видео Thabo Mbeki Foundation International Women's Day Dialogue: Panel Discussion 2

In this panel, we attempt to bring different actors from different think tanks to articulate some of the socio-economic challenges including insecurity, violence, and gender inequalities that have seen the migration and movement of women and sexual minorities in and out of the continent. This will also help us focus on making sense of the crisis of social reproduction in African households across the continent. How do we understand the fractures of the economy that threaten women's existence in rural areas? Are there any rural development models across the space and time that we can learn from to support practical strategies that can support women and queer communities in rural Africa?
