** About the Game **

Developed by an indie gaming company, Newcore Games, The Devil Within: Satgat is a 2.5D souls-like metroidvania game that was released for Windows, PS5, and Switch in 2024. The game takes place in a fictional eastern land of Joseon that has become corrupted due to the demonic influence of the Radiant Spire, a spiked tower that mysteriously appeared in the land of Joseon.

In the game, you take on the role of Kim Rip. He is a royal guard who is formally in charge of Princess Soyoon's security. He wakes up in the Ruined City with no memories of his past, only to discover a demon residing within him. He then sets out on a perilous journey to regain his memories and neutralise the effect of the demonic forces in Joseon and the world at large.
