Welcome to the first quick tip video! I'm trying out a series to address some of the specific questions I get that don't really fit into a longer tutorial style video.

I get a lot of questions about how I fold my fabric and what I use, so I thought I'd put together a quick little video for you all! I fold all my fabric this way--everything between a fat quarter and really large cuts.

I didn't mention this in the video but I do want to mention here--my sewing room is nice and bright with two windows but they are north-facing windows so there isn't any direct sunlight on my fabric. I have had direct sun shining on fabric before and it does bleach the fabric over time so open shelving like I have isn't an ideal solution for everyone!
