Ok ok, here is the comparison, first of probably many, between new neverwinter AOE companion Regis and good old Xuna.
Regis came with the new bundle that was presented by Cryptic Studios recently and he can only be gained, as others can be bought as a single purchase for 1500 zen also time gated as i said in yesterdays linked blog on arc site, called Companions of the Hall.
Naturally you can obtain regis via auction house from other players, and current price on pc is abit over 3 milion astral diamonds.
Now, in the video i did control test, and AOE control or otherwise tests are quite hard to do mind you, however i managed to get a sample thankfully because of regis AOE main attack whirlwind of blades, and xuna hits all 4 target dummies as it is.
I expressed some personal opinions why this companion was placed in the bundle, how they nerf companions like last 3 cough mercenary, without telling us and players invested maybe and grinded for a month or more to get it to that level just to be pure junk now and dirty tactics i`m used to by now from this company.
Some pros and cons for both companions both regis and xuna, and why do i prefer xuna and will stay with xuna for the time being.
Every test was done with my full concentration and paying attention to details time and all that comes with it to be as precise as it could be for a control test.
Now, in PVE solo or in party, nothing is like it is here keep that in mind, companions die, they get flank or combat advantage randomly from players and much more factors must be included and kept in mind when we test this in PVE enviroment. TLDR it`s very conditional and vary alot.
ACT or combat tracker logs are provided and entire video will be timestamped.
