Broadcom MegaRAID 9560-16i Tri-Mode Shoot-out Single Drive RAID-0 vs JBOD vs PCIe | FIO Benchmarks

In this video I'm going to compare the performance of NVMe drives in 3 different configurations: single drive RAID-0 vs JBOD vs direct PCIe NVMe, using the Broadcom MegaRAID 9560-16i Tri-mode controller. I'll be using the fio benchmark in various scenarios and we'll compare the results. Some of the outcomes were surprising and unexpected.
