The movie 'Joker' is a gritty and intense character study of Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian who is struggling to survive in the grim and brutal city of Gotham. From the beginning of the film, we see Arthur as a man who is deeply lonely and isolated, cut off from the rest of society by his mental illness, poverty, and social stigma. Throughout the film, we see how Arthur's lack of social support and human connection exacerbates his mental illness and pushes him to the brink of insanity. He is repeatedly rejected and ignored by the people around him, and his cries for help go unanswered. As a result, he is driven to commit violent acts and embrace his alter ego, the Joker, who represents his nihilistic and destructive impulses.

The film is a powerful commentary on the devastating effects of loneliness on mental health, as well as the dangers of social isolation and disconnection. It shows how a person who is cut off from society and deprived of human connection can become consumed by their own despair and turn to violence as a means of expressing their pain and frustration.
