In this video we compare the LG XBOOM Go PK7 with its newest firmware (Oct 2019) and its new Sound Boost-Mode to the JBL Xtreme 2 and its newest firmware (Oct 2019).

Settings:

Song 1 (Sound-Comparison at 50% Volume):
LG PK7:
Sound Boost ON
Clear Vocal ON
Enhanced Bass ON

Song 2 (Which one gets louder and sounds better at 100% Volume-Comparison):
LG PK7:
Sound Boost ON
Clear Vocal ON
Enhanced Bass ON

At 50% the LG PK7 distorts a lil bit in the highs with Sound-Boost on, so I would recommend this mode only for high volume...

BTW: The Sound-Boost Mode has to be activated in the XBoom App!
