This game was truly a tale of two halves. In the first half, PVI came out connecting on all cylinders, while Gonzaga struggled to get anything going. However, down 13 going into half, the Eagles outscored PVI 41-21 in the second half, a run fueled by transition layups, defensive tenacity , and that "we're not going home" mentality. Chuck Harris had a game high 16 points. Dug McDaniel contributed 12 points for PVI in the loss.
