The Gold Coast Bar & Restaurant was originally founded in 2004 in London by William and Francesca Quagraine. After 11 years of fine-tuning, product development, they decided to set up Gold Coast's first restaurant in Ghana in 2015.

For several decades, Gold Coast has been among the most visible proponents of development and entertainment in the hospitality industry; being the first Ghanaian restaurant to win the BBC's Great Taste Awards in London, 2010. Gold Coast has also served the community and industry as market leaders, role models, and have inspired others in the development of their careers in the Ghanaian diaspora and industry in general. They have also been dedicated to the widespread growth of the profession in Ghana.

Gold Coast mainstream casual dining restaurant with an integrated cocktail bar that caters provides friendly, attentive service in a relaxed environment. With branches in Labone, Airport, Dansoman and across Accra, they offer a range of hearty Ghanaian and continental dishes in a stimulating atmosphere.

William sat down with dentaa and discussed the GOLDCOAST journey, why he left UK to go back to GHANA, and his other business ventures in GHANA. ENJOY
