Previously, the party helped Prince Howard of Howcastle complete his royal rite o' purification. Their reward for this service was the Magic Key! Now, they can open up some Magic Key doors and progress with the game.
First, they Zoom off to Arkbolt in the real world (time 0:24). On the castle's ramparts, they head down the northeast stairway (time 1:01). The Magic Key opens the red door in the room below.
The lower-left pot contains Mini Medal #028 (time 1:05). The chest contains a Poison Needle (time 1:18).
Next, the party Zooms back to Howcastle (time 1:50). After going to Prince Howard's room in the west via the tunnel, they can now go out the red door in the south (time 3:12). This leads to a green space on the western side of the main keep.
Out here, they find a Slime Knight named Goowain (time 3:31). Goowain and his gloopy steed came to serve the Prince, but the Prince misjudged him for his monstrous appearance and locked him up. Goowain offers to join the party. Yes! Come along, good Goowain. Goowain, the Slime Knight, starts at Level 1 with the Heal spell and no equipment. He will need to get started on vocation masteries right away.
By the wall to the west, a twinkling shows the location of Mini Medal #029 (time 5:43).
Afterwards, the party Zooms to Alltrades Abbey in the dream world (time 6:44). There, they make Goowain a Rank 1 Martial Artist, White Belt, to get him started on the road to Paladin.
Next, back in the real world, they Zoom to Madame Luca's (time 8:33). When they consult with her for fortune-telling, she points the way to a small shrine southwest of Howcastle. Evidently, this leads to a place called Clearvale.
So, the party Zooms back to Howcastle (time 9:47). They head southwest towards the shrine on the small island.
Along the way, Goowain learns the Rank 1 Martial Artist ability, Leg Sweep (time 10:20).
They soon arrive at the shrine southwest of Howcastle (time 10:41). With the Magic Key, they can now get through the shrine's red door. But as they examine the well within, they encounter a Scarewell (time 11:20)! Stupid well mimics.
When the Scarewell is dead, they examine the well again (time 12:21). It takes them up to the well northwest of Clearvale in the dream world. After emerging, they are on an islet off the southwest coast of the landmass where the Spiegelspire is located, but mountains block passage to that tower. The town of Clearvale is southeast of the well. Be on the lookout for explosive Rockbombs, whose Kamikazee attacks can devastate the party.
While the party explores this area, Goowain, the Slime Knight, reaches Level 2 (time 14:46). Milly reaches Dancer Rank 8, Divine Dancer, and learns Death Dance. About as useful as Whack and Thwack, but at least it's free. More importantly, she can now move on to the intermediate vocation Luminary and work towards the amazing Hustle Dance ability.
As they continue on, Goowain, the Slime Knight, reaches Level 3 (time 16:22). He learns Drain Magic.
After a brief walk, the party arrives at the town of Clearvale (time 17:07). This is a charming little town with ups and downs. Evidently, there are fairy tales about a flying bed here, but it has been out of sight for some time. Unfortunately, the northeastern house is locked. There are hints at some tragedy here.
In the inn on the southeast hill, there is a wardrobe with Rags in the first floor washroom (time 19:39). Well, lah-dee-dah. In the western room of the second floor, one chest of drawers contains a Dancer's Costume (time 21:07).
In the southwest house in the valley, the chest of drawers contains Mini Medal #030 (time 23:56). Time for another medal king prize! Also, the bookcase contains 'Warrior Cat Tales: Part Four', the thrilling denouement to the series of feline adventures.
In the weapon shop on the northwest hill, the party picks up the Dream Blade for Heorot (time 25:21). This sword can sometimes put physically attacked enemies to sleep.
Behind the equipment shop building, the party can find a friendly Healslime (time 28:10). He, too, seems to be waiting to see a flying bed.
In the church atop the lower northern hill, a chest of drawers in the eastern room contains a Holy Water (time 31:41).
