Appalachian Trail Thru Hike: (EP 089) Rejected by a cult while wrapped in a blanket of KT Tape

I set out to hike the Appalachian Trail and to VLOG my entire thru hike. The project morphed though, from my journey along the trail to how the trail and the people on the trail would impact me. The story is more than just my experience. I interview hikers, share tips for thru hiking, find myself blessed by trail angels, review the best and worst of hostel life, have both the opportunity to explore the social dynamic of being a NoBo (North Bound Hiker) and the isolation of being a SoBo (South Bound Hiker). As a Flip-Flopper (doing the North Half hiking North, before doing the South Half hiking South) I hiked in the best and worst weather, during hunting season, and in the snow. With the Appalachian Trail 2020 class unable to hike do to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and me unable to leave my house to hike with the Pacific Crest Trail 2020 class I thought now is a great time to sit down and edit last years hiking video. This is the best trail magic I can do. I hope that by watching these videos in sequence you will be able to experience what it is like to be a thru-hiker.
