Nope! its not from the Christmas tree, its from a sack that filled with presents. All is quiet except for a noise coming from the kitchen. As Owl B. Blue creeps in he spots a man, dressed in red with black boots and he's eating cookies and drinking milk. Owl B. Blue lets out a HOOT of surprise. With that, Santa drops his biscuit, looses his balance and plops to the floor. Owl B. Blue is upset and fears he has hurt Santa so starts to cry...but all is ok and Santa is fine and he pulls out the naughty and nice list...which one is Owl B. Blue on?

What a delightful, endearing story this is and Owl B. Blue is the most adorable and loveable character. So wonderfully written in clever entertaining rhyme that is harmonised by the bright, engaging and captivating illustrations. This is a book that will make the reader Hoot with happiness and at the same time empathise with Owl B. Blue and his sadness at having maybe hurt Santa. The shining essence through this story is that fears can be conquered, overcome and dealt with, strength comes from within. We all have insecurities and with the gentleness of the writing it shows how, with care and understanding, that it's ok to have them and that they can be conquered. A gorgeous, tender story, one of a series, and the perfect Christmas gift to bring many smiles.
