How the analysis of some of our DNA markers carried out by the 'Genographic Project' helps us to draw the migrations path of our ancestors both of maternal and paternal line. A fascinating journey that leads us to our roots, from Africa to the more recently colonized regions.

Co-author of three volumes The UNESCO World Heritage Site and the World's Cities he was honored to receive the Voltolino Award for science divulgation (2001), the Grand Prix of the French Association of Travel Writers (2008) and the Hippocrates Prize of the Italian Union of Scientific Medical Information (2010).
