Trout Fishing Gatlinburg Tennessee, 2023

So for the second year in row we made our trip up to Gatlinburg Tennessee. Yeah we did the touristy stuff...again...but I also found time to hit the streams for trout. Not only in Down town Gatlinburg but also out in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

Again I mostly fly fish for them, I think in parks it is the only way to go.

This trip was not a successful as last year, but I didn't fish on Friday, like I did last year. They Stock every Thursday, so I suspect that is why Last year I killed them on Friday.

I did notice that down fishing down town is very similar to close quarter combat.....this year there were people fishing ALL OVER.

So if you want a stream or hole to yourself...head to the state parks to fish.
