Even as Bollywood is ready to serve us 'Padman' starring superstar Akshay Kumar on the stigma and uneasyness revolving around periods, it seems that India is not yet ready to start a conversation on the issue and even in the 21st century the topic is kept under wraps. We at Oneindia went out to talk to people from all ages and genders on the issue and what we saw was shocking, not only men but even women are not comfortable to see a pad publicly or speak about it. Some even said that it is detrimental to the Indian culture to speak about 'these things' openly.
