Craters of the Moon National Monument Idaho | Complete Scenic Drive 4K

A complete scenic drive on Craters of the Moon Loop Drive in Idaho. Along the way we walk on Devil's Orchard Trail, hike up to the top of Inferno Cone, hike Snow Cone Trail and Spatter Cone Trail, and see the other great places this one of a kind park has to offer. After seeing Craters of the Moon Loop Drive we head through the rest of the park on U.S. Route 20, 26 & 93.

Large portions of Idaho, Colorado and Utah were covered in dense smoke from various wildfires in California and elsewhere when this video was filmed in September, 2022, which gave the park even more of a prehistoric look and feel but meant we weren't able to do quite as much hiking as we wanted to as it was becoming hard to breathe after days of exposure. We included photos of the lava caves in the park, but weren't able to get video footage during this visit unfortunately.
