Описание к видео Why² -- navigating the quarterlife crisis: Dr. Barbara Jacoby at TEDxUMD

Dr. Jacoby invites us to explore the quarterlife crisis, one of life's first major crossroads and the transition into early adulthood. It is a period often marked by anxiety, uncertainty, and inner turmoil. However, Dr. Jacoby suggests that with the right attitude and approach, the quarterlife can be a time to compose a life of meaning and purpose. In her engaging talk, Dr. Jacoby describes the role of critical reflection in preparing to reinvent ourselves again and again in response to changing circumstances in our lives and in our rapidly changing world.

Dr. Jacoby is Faculty Associate for Leadership and Community Service-Learning at the University of Maryland, College Park. She also teaches her personally developed course: Now What? Composing a Life of Meaning and Purpose.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
