Throughout the 30 years I have been playing music, I have learned the craft of (coincidentally) 30 instruments🎶
16 - Askomandoura. The askomandoura is the bagpipe of the island of Crete. Traditionally, it was played almost exclusively in rural areas as a herder’s instrument but has, as of recently, made its way into the popular Cretan repertoire. It has a dual chanter similar to that of the Tsabouna but is played with 5 holes on either chanter. The bag is made from goat hide. This instrument was made by @serafeim_marmaridis
